What grade level are these assemblies for?
Steve’s interactive drawing assemblies are perfect for students in kindergarten through sixth grade. Presentations can be tailored to specific grade levels and abilities, or Steve can provide one engaging all-school assembly designed for mixed ages. Every program is fun, easy to follow, and created to keep students drawing and participating.
How many students can participate?
Steve has drawn with groups ranging from as few as 35 students to as many as 800 at one time! The number of students in each presentation is flexible and can be tailored to your school’s available space, schedule, and facilities.
How long is each presentation?
Presentations are typically 45 minutes long but can be adjusted to fit your school’s schedule and specific needs.
Before the presentation begins, each student should have a pencil and two sheets of paper ready. Plain paper works well, but notebook paper is perfectly fine too.
How far in advance do we need to book?
Because the assembly is easy to set up, schools can book a presentation at almost any time. However, if you have a specific date in mind, it’s best to reserve it as early as possible. Popular dates can fill quickly, and booking ahead helps ensure your preferred date is available.
When do we pay for the school visit?
Payment on the day of the assembly is preferred, but Steve understands that every school has a different payment process. Schools may pay in advance or submit a purchase order and process payment after the visit.
Payment can be made by check or credit card.
How many presentations come with a school visit?
You have two choices for your school visit.
Full-Day Visit - Four 45-minute presentations
Your school creates the day’s schedule, allowing presentations to be organized by grade level or student group.
Half-Day Visit - Two 45-minute presentations
Your school chooses the presentation times. Both assemblies must be scheduled during the same morning or afternoon.
Extra Presentations
Four not enough? Extra presentations can be purchased for $250
What are the Family Drawing Nights?
Bring students, parents, and teachers together for an unforgettable Drawing Game Show! Families draw cartoon characters along with Steve, then spin the picker wheel to add surprising—and often hilarious—details to their creations.
Hosted by schools and PTA/PTO groups, Family Drawing Nights are perfect for art shows, family literacy nights, and other evening family events. Everyone participates, every drawing is unique, and the whole family leaves laughing and creating together!
What does the school provide?
Can you visit other schools in our district?
Yes! Special pricing may be available when multiple schools in the same district schedule visits. Steve can also split the day between two nearby schools, making it easier and more affordable to bring the drawing experience to more students.

Can we switch to an online visit?
Yes, life is unpredictable and in person can switch to online. Also any in person visit can change to a NEW date if there is a snow day or school closing.
